Student Life

At the ELI , students enjoy a full program of activities designed to make their stay a pleasant and memorable experience. The ELI activities are held on a weekly basis.

By participating in these activities, students learn about Miami and surrounding communities, practice English and experience American culture through FIU campus life, and engage in social interaction with American and other international students.

ELI students are encouraged to attend as many ELI activities as possible. Some of these activities include:

• visits to local museums and attractions,

• dinner at various international restaurants,
