ELI's four-week Summer Institute integrated program of grammar and conversation
allows students to study English in a semi-academic setting at all levels of
proficiency.
Students are tested on the first day of class, and then placed in one of six levels
of study, from beginning through advanced.
Summer Institute classes meet Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 am to 12:00 PM,
allowing students to have the afternoon free to study and explore the city of
Miami. Fridays are also free for students to travel around our beautiful state.
Integrated Grammar / Conversation Course
In small classes of 10-15, students will:
- Improve conversation through structured practice
- Learn practical American idioms
- Increase active/passive vocabulary
- Participate in class discussions
- Improve listening comprehension
- Build grammar skills
